The installation of Bimini awnings or tarpaulins is very simple and requires no special knowledge. If you want, you can do it yourself or ask our team to do the installation. The only thing necessary is to measure the boat, know where you want to place the awning and anchor it following the steps indicated in the product instructions. The installation can be done in different places on the boat, depending on your needs.

Step 1.

On a clean, smooth surface, place all the items included in the box.

Make sure there are no sharp items or items that could stain the awning around you.

  1. Place the awning stretched.
  2. Prepare the inner bars.
  3. Place half of the outer supports on each side of the awning.

Step 2.

Trying NOT to step on the awning:

  1. Insert an inner bar into the center guide of the awning.
  2. Insert an inner bar into a side awning guide.
  3. Insert the third inner bar into the opposite side guide.

Step 3.

Holding an external support vertically:

  1. Insert the curved corner through the lateral guide and make it fit with the inner bar placed in step 2.
  2. Repeat with the opposite side.
  3. Insert the middle bar of the outer support through the central guide until it snaps into place with the bar inserted in step 2.

Step 4.

Attach the mobile fixings to the outer supports and the awning is ready for installation on your boat.

How to measure?

It will be necessary to know the midpoint of the area you want to cover.

Then measure the width and length of the selected space and consider where you want to install the anchorage and mounting points. It will also be important to know the height you want for your awning, awning or cover. In order to do this, you must take as a reference point the surface chosen for the anchorage of the awning.

Carvid Marine's Bimini awnings offer various assembly solutions for all types of boats.
