This policy covers cancellations and refunds for services bought from Carvidmarine LLC ("Carvid Marine", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Cancelling
You can cancel any service at any time. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and name the service you want to cancel. We confirm within one business day.
If we receive your request before the next billing date, you won't be charged again. The service stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. It is then shut down, and its data is deleted within 7 days, as set out in our Terms of Service.
7-day money-back on your first VPS
If you cancel your first VPS order within 7 days of delivery, we refund the full amount. This applies once per customer and doesn't cover traffic overage or add-ons such as extra IP addresses.
Other refunds
- Partial months: not refunded or prorated when you cancel mid-period.
- Dedicated servers and colocation: refundable in full if you cancel before delivery. If we buy hardware specifically for a custom order and you then cancel, the cost of that hardware isn't refundable. Any such cost is stated in the quote.
- Late delivery: if we don't deliver within the time in our service delivery policy plus 5 business days, you can cancel for a full refund.
- Downtime: handled through service credits under the SLA, not refunds.
- AUP terminations: services terminated for breaking our Acceptable Use Policy are not refunded.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. Bank transfer refunds are sent in US dollars, and you pay any fees your bank charges to receive them.
Disputes and chargebacks
If you think you've been charged in error, email [email protected] first. If you open a chargeback without contacting us, we may suspend the related services until the dispute is closed.
